Eggplant, Teal and Emerald Jewel Toned Wedding Colour Scheme

This colour scheme was a request from a bride who was looking for a palette that combines eggplant, teal and either dark red or dark green. After a bit of consideration, I went with green - specifically an emerald shade that matched well with the jewel-like tones in the rest of the palette. I really like green as a wedding colour because of how natural it is. It's so easy to add green to your colour scheme within your bouquets, floral arrangements and venue!

I think my favourite part of this colour scheme, however, is the slightly lighter shade of purple that I added. The other three colours in this palette are quite dark and I wanted to break them up a bit so that it didn't feel too heavy. It achieved this effect perfectly!

It's all in the details:

  • Slightly mismatched bridesmaids dresses
  • Gemstone earrings that cover all three colours
  • A floral headband with dark teal leaves
