Bright Pink and Green Tropical Wedding Colour Scheme

Is it just me or do tropical weddings seem to be trending lately? I'm absolutely crazy about this theme because I'm a big traveler and I like anything that reminds me of warmer weather. The bright colours that naturally come along with these weddings are so happy and exciting, and I can't get enough of the palm leaves, pineapples and flamingos. It's like an updated twist on the slightly tired Hawaiian Luau theme! My two favourite tips for a tropical wedding that doesn't have that strong luau feel would be to skip the hibiscus and plumeria in favour of palm leaves and bird of paradise flowers; and to play up fruit displays - think pineapple, coconut and papaya.

In this particular tropical wedding colour scheme I've chosen to focus in on deep pinks and greens for a slightly more refined and elegant look. Having a bright, tropical theme doesn't mean that you have to use every vibrant colour you can find! Pink and green look lovely with white accents and you could easily bring in gold to this colour palette if you're into the metallic look - personally, I love it!

It's all in the details:
  • A stunning deep pink floral arch
  • Palm leaves as a table runner
  • Pineapple vases as centrepieces
