Tiana-Inspired Peach, Navy and Green Wedding Colour Scheme

You may already know that I'm a big fan of Disney. Part of my honeymoon involved 5 days at Disney World in Orlando and we had the time of our lives! A while back, I did a series of wedding colour schemes that were inspired by several Disney princesses, but a few were missing. One of them was a Tiana-inspired palette and I'm terribly ashamed to admit that I skipped Tiana because...

I had never seen The Princess and The Frog!

So when a reader request came in for a specific peach and navy colour palette with touches of Tiana, I opened up a new tab and got to watching the movie right away for inspiration. I'm so glad I did - what a sweet movie! I can't believe it took me so long!

The reader had sent me a photo of the Alfred Angelo dress that was inspired by the movie and I used its glamorous style as a base for this theme. Peach and navy were part of her request, but I also added sage which I pulled from Tiana's famous princess dress, and gold, inspired by the elegant 1920s New Orleans style. I'm SO pleased with the result of this combination! It's a perfect blend of natural and classic and the finished product is simply alluring.

It's all in the details:

  • A gold-laced ivory wedding gown
  • Lacy navy blue bridesmaids dresses
  • Peach napkins on a navy tablecloth
